HOUSEHOLDERS' MEETINGS
BELL BLOCK. Mr. Horsup presided over an attendance of eight members, and submitted a report of the year's proceedings. The treasurer's report showed a credit balance of £lB, and ways and means of expending some of this were discussed. The following committee was elected:— Messrs. Horsup (chairman). Holmes, C. and F. Hoskin, Rutherford, Crocker, and Downs (secretary). Mr. J. Connctt refused nomination. OPUNAKE. At the annual meeting of householder* at Opunake there were only ten present, and the outgoing committee, viz., Messrs G. Looney, E. J. Dudley, R. McR. Malcolm, J, T. Humphries, C. A. Trotter, T. J. Mildenhall, and D. Markham were reelected. It seems passing strange how smaE an amount of interest parents tak« in these elections. A unanimous vote congratulating the headmaster on th« year's results was passed.
