Wool—The following are the prices realised ' for the fleece portion of die Puketihi clip: Top price Is, average ny 4 d. Copper.—Spot £7O 5s Bd, three months £7l 10s. Tin.—Spot £lO7 10s, three months £194 5s Bd. Lead, £lO & 9d. Wheat.—Two Australian cargoes sold at 37s lOd and 40s iy„d respectively. AUCKLAND STOCK EXCHANGE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. At Westfkld to-day, fat eatlle were yarded in increased numbers, and prices improved, especially in oxen. Prime ox beef sold to 28s per lOOllhi others, 23s to 25s per 1001b; cows and heifers, 18s to 23s per ilOOlb; sttcrs sold .to £lO 10s to £l4 for heavy weights; lighter weights, £0 10s to £!) ss; cows and heifers, £4 10s to £7 ss. The veal pens wore well filled, and sold at late rates. Heavy vealers sold at £3 3s to £4 4s ; medium weights, £2 6s to £3 ■ 3s; others, 20s to 335; lighter sorts and fresh dropped, -3s to 12s. Sheep were yarded in smaller numbers than usual, and' best wethers improved in value. Other prices were unaltered. Best wethers sold at from 17s to lfls Cd; others. 13s Od to llos 0d; ewes 10s to 14s 3d; best lambs sold to 14s 9d; others, 8s 9d to 12s fid. ,Pigs came forward in usual numbers, and sold at late rates. Baconers, £2 ,12s fid to £3 Is; large porkers, £2 5s to £2 10s;; porkers, 34s Od to £2 3s. No slips or weaners were yarded.
