WAREA. (From Our Own Correspondent). | Last Thursday some of the Glenfernia i Tennis iClub's players travelled to Okato to play a match against the Okato play- j ers. The local team were defeated by , 26 games to' 14. A. meeting of the Ladies' Guild was held last week. It was decided to hold the church bazaar on 'May 29 and 30. It was decided to ask the following ladies | and gentlemen to help with the various stalls: Sewing and fancy, No. 1, Mesdames (Clothier, Revell and C. Wells; No., "2, (Mesdames Millar and Parker; refreshments, Mrs. M. Hill and the Misses Coiibett and Hill; fruit, etc., Mes- ( dames Burgess, Barak and Pilham; pro-' duce, Mesdames T. and E. Julian; sweets, etc., Misses V. Clothier and Ida Wells; Christmas tree, Mrs. S. Wells and the Misses Julian; bran tub, Misses Magon and D. Julian; fish pond, Messrs. R. Julian and W. Wilson; shooting gallery, 'Messrs. W. B. Clarke, T. Julian, sen., T. E. Larkings and H. Pelham. Most of these were connected with the Hall bazaar, held last year, which was a great success, and there is no reason why this coming one should not be just ,'s successful. The Government inspector has been in he district lately, paying a visit to ome of the suppliers' sheds, and showng them what to do, so as to bring good nilk to the factory. The farmers are now busy ploughing or their winter and spring feed. A very successful dance was held in he Hall on Friday evening. There was i. fine night and a good attendance. The nusio was supplied by local players, and Mir. T. E. Larking acted as M.C.
