FIRES.

TWO HOUSES BURNED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Saturday. A fire at an early hour this morning destroyed two houses at Kelburne. One house was owned and occupied by Cecil Coulter, solicitor. The other was unoccupied, and owned by his wife. The houses were insured in the Norwich Union for £2OOO, and the furniture for £2OO. A WELLINGTON BLAZE. Wellington, Last Night. A fire broke out at 2.43 this morning in a general store occupied by Samuel Cope, at Mexham avenue, Haitaitai. The. building and its contents were burnt right out. The contents were insured for £IOBO. The building was owned by Mr. Moorshonse.
