Giving evidence before the Food Commission, Mr. David Pell, M.L.A., gave as his opinion that some influence was at work in Australia affecting the price of meat. He believed that operations were controlled from Melbourne. He was prepared to give information supplied by people in the know, but not publicly. The commission decided to take his evidence in camera.
