CANADA AND THE WEST INDIES. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Ottawa, April 11. Mr. Foster, Minister for Trade, was entertained at a banquet by' the West Indian delegates. In a speech Mr. Foster said that the West Indian treaty was the beginning of a wider system of Imperial preference. Next in order was Australia, and he hoped 'that the' next few yearn would bind the sisterhood of the whole Empire. Then they would all be ready to march to the Mother Country and secure one bond of commercial union throughout the Empire.
