HOMING.
During Easter, the New Plymouth East Flying Club got off three events. The first, flown on Thursday last, was a flock race from Aramoho, 83 miles distant, in which 38 birds, representing 13 lofts, participated. The result was as follows: L. Whitaker's Sweet Seventeen, 2hr. 55min., 1; H. <T. Moverley's bird and W. Itisby's Kia Ora, 3hr. 9min., 2; T. Ray's Forty, 3'hr. llmin., 3. The second race, flown on Saturday last from Waverley, was confined to late-bred birds. The placed birds were: W. Kisby'is St. Elmo, -2hr. 20min., 1; 11. J. Moverley's Patience, 2hr. 27%min., 2; D. Murphy's Blue Bell, 2hr. 28min., 3; F. James' Twenty, 2hr. 4. The third event took the form of an interval race from Wanganui on Monday. Of the sixteen members taking part only eight reported birds homed on the day of the race. Several of the others arrived the following morning. The first four | to home were: W. Kisby's Cloudy Morn, | 3hr. 38min., 1; T. Ray's Silvery Moon, 4hr. 47min., 2; D. Murphy's Wapiti, ohr. 35min„ 3; R. Tanner's Moon Beam, 7hr. | 21min., 4.
