LAWN TENNIS.
UNIVERSITY TOURNAMENT. By Telefraph—Press Associativa. Dunedin, Last Night. The University tennis tournament was finished to-day. The weather was fine in the morning, but was wet in the afternoon. The finals resulted as follows: Ladies' singles: Miss Cross (Canterbury) beat Miss Tenent (Wellington) 9-6. Lad'ies' doubles: Misses Cross and Jamieson (Canterbury) beat Misses Hunt and Farnie (Otago) 9—4. In the men's singles the final between Jennings and Smith, both of Canterbury, will ue played in Christchurch. In the men's doubles, Jennings and Smith beat Cleghorn and Parker (Wellington), 6-2, 6—3. In the combined doubles Miss Cross and Jennings beat Miss Tenent and Cleghorn 6—2, 6-0. H
