FATAL PANIC.
WOMEN TRAMPLED TO DEATH. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 9, 10.15 p.m. Paris, April 9. At a concert given by the Women's Patriotic League at Londian a lamp fell. The blazing oil was readily extinguished, but there was a wild stampede of women and children. The narrow stairway was choked, and it was half an hour before it was cleared. It was then found that seven had been trampled to death, and fifteen terribly injured.
