I VISITING CLUBS. I ..The St, John's Club, which hails from Wanganui, met the New Plymouth Club, on the latter's green, on Saturday morning, and was defeated by 80 points to 73. In the afternoon the visitors met Fitzroy, at Fitzroy, the local club winning by 58 points. The Auckland contingent played the second match of its tour on Saturday morning against West End, and won by a margin of 25 points. In the afternoon the visitors journeyed out to Inglewood to play a match against the local club. Scores in the various matches wer« as follows: AUCKLAND v. WEST END. A. W. FITZROY v. AUCKLAND. Bowling was marred considerably yesterday by rain. In the morning Auckland played Fitzro}-, and won 'by 77 points to 69. The afternoon match— Auckland versus New Plymouth—had to be abandoned after about 12 or 13 heads had been played. The local players were then leading by 14 points. Subsequently the Aucklanders were entertained by the New Plymouth Club at a social gathering in the pavilion. In. the evening the majority of the visitors left by the Rarawa on the return journey to Auckland. The scores in the morning match were as follow:—> F. A. Chi vers.
