ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
A SUICIDE. r : By Telegraph—Press Association. Tauranga, Last Night. Austin Loder, a well-known resident, was found dead in his house this afternoon, with a bullet wound in his foreheadl and a rifle lying at his feet. He had not been seen since Sunday last, and apparently had been dead for five or six days. Deceased recently returned from a trip to the Old Country, bringing with him a quantity of merchandise to open a business. He purchased btuuneM premises, and became very despondent over the transaction, fearing that lie had given too much. A BROKEN NECK. Tauranga, Last Night. At the inquest on Alex. Hay, killed nt Mount Maunganui yesterday while wellsinking, a verdict of accidental death was returned. Deceased's neck was broken. A TRAMWAY FATALITY. Dunedin, Last Night. A man named William Nesbit was the victim of a fatal accident at Roslyi to-night, being killed by a tramear. No further particulars are at present available.
