A REFRACTORY TEAM. By Trieirrnph—Press AsaotiatfM. Trmaru, April 4. A number of .young men appeared in the court to-day, summoned for foiling to take the o'aKh under the Defence! Act. One said that he did not tak/s an interest in the territorials and did l not think he would be needed. There would be no more wars. Another said that he would no't keep the oath if he took it, theretftore swearing it would! be perjury. He would rot attendi drills' and did not believe in them. A third 1 said he did not care about the country, and would 60on«>r leave it than take the oath/ The Magistrate (Mr. Day) told'him that he.had better leave the country, which would he better without him if he did not care for it. Another voutih, who said that if he took the ctatih he would have to stop in the country, wasi told that it was not so. All the cases were adjourned for n; week to give the boys h charge #o change their minds.
