HOMING.
During the past week the New Plymouth East Flying Club has held three races, the first being a flock race from Waverley, fourteen members forwarding 96 birds for this race, with the following result:—L. Whitaker's Belle, 1 hr. 36min., 1; D. Murphy's "Wapiti," Ihr. 30min. 20 sec., "2; T. Ray's '"Bon Bon," lhr. 45%min. 3; H. J. Moverley's "Royal Oak,"~2hr. smin. 4.
» The second event was a flock race from Eltliam for late-bred birds. Results:—D. Murphy's "Baldawhat" and ( H. P. Moverley's "Loretta" (equal), 42 min., 1; F. James' "Boney" and W. Rowley's "Sandy" (equal), 42min 40sec., 3; W. Beal's ''Election Day," 42min 42sec.,
On Saturday the club held a race from Aramoho, a distance of 80 miles, which resulted as folloAvs:—H. J, Moverley's "Sweet Xell" and W. Kirbv's "Defender" (equal), 2hr. 1 Grain., 1; T. A. James' "Rosebud," 2hr. IGmin. 30sec., 3; W. C. Bransgrove's "Caloola," 2hr. 16min, 50 sec., 4.
The next event will be an interval race from Wanganui.
