Onehunga, Tuesday.—Arrived, at 8.55 a.m., Rarawa, from New Plymouth. THE ROSAMOND. The Rosamond arrived from Onehunga with a' quantity of explosives for the Harbor Board, sailing for Wellington immediately after discharging. THE FLORA. The Flora, with 200 tons of cargo, arrived from Wellington yesterday morning. She sailed after discharging for Westport and Greymouth. A WHALING FLEET. The Norwegian whaling venture, to be known as the New Zealand Whaling Company", are bringing out from Norway a fleet of five vessels, which are due in New Zealand in May. The fleet is composed of two wnp.iers, two vessels for tendering purposes, a sailing vessel—the Prince George—and a steamer —the Rakiura, of about 5000 tons burden. Enquiries are being made in respect to facilities for docking the whaling fleet at Port Chalmers. ' A LUXURIOUS STEAMER. The Cunard twin-screw steamer Laconia, of 18,000 tons gross, contains some exceptional accommodation for passengers. In addition to the up-to-date luxurious cabins and the usual variety of open-air recreation, first-class passengers have been provided with facilities for golfing and tennis, mechanicallyi driven horses for riding exercises, bicycles, rowing machines, and appliances ' for massage treatment.
