THE NEW HEBRIDES. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney, March 25. The Malaita, from the New Hebrides, reports that the natives are in a state of unrest, and a mission boy has been shot. MOTOR-CAR FATALITY. Sydney, March 25. A motor overturned at Bankstown, and John Sands, head of the firm of Zollner Ltd., was killed, three other occupanti having narrow escapes. REFUSAL OF A LIQUOR LICENSE. Melbourne, March 25. Mr. Watt, Treasurer, refused to issue a liquor license to Edgarton, near Wonthaggi. The matter was taken to Court, and a mandamus calling on him to issue a license obtained. Mr. Watt still refuses, on the ground of high public policy, and does not thiik the judge can compel him.
