PROPOSED EXCLUSIVE BRITISH CONTROL. By Cable—(Press Association—Copyright. Received 26, 12.5 a.m. Sydney, March 25. Visitors from the New Hebrides state that there it is considered an accepted thing that an arrangement has been arrived at whereby the British are to have sole control of the group. French residents have taken definite action and are forwarding a protest to France.
The fact that the Condomium Land Court has not yet opened is much commented upon. NO OFFICIAL INFORMATION. Received 25, 12.40 a.m. Melbourne, March 25. Mr. Fisher states that he has received no official information of any proposal to vest the New Hebrides exclusively in the British authorities.
