WAITARA NEWS.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) The usual weekly meeting of the Waitara 1.0. G.T., Prince of Peace, No. 72, j was held in the Foresters' Hall on Tuesday last and was well attended. About ! a dozen members of the Egmont, No. 112, New Plymouth, made the journey to assist the Waitara Lodge. Bro. Robt. Armstrong, C.T., presided. At 8.15 p.m. 1 outside friends were admitted and a very pleasant evening was spent. The following contributed to the programme:— Auto-harp selection, Bro. Hedley; song (2), Bro. Howell (encored); address, Bro. N. T. Maunder; recitation (2), Sis. Connett; pianoforte solo, Sis, Way; recitation, Sis. Read; pianoforte solo (2), Sis. Brough; recitation (3), Bro. Pepperill. During the evening a new member was initiated, and at the close the Sisters provided a first-class supper.
