DEATH OF A CYCLIST. By Telegraph—Press Association. Hastings, Monday. ' George Henry Matthews, aged 19, a grocer's assistant, died on Saturday night as the. result of colliding with a trap on the 9th inst., whilst cycling in Heretaunga street. DEATH WTRLE UNDERGOING OPERATION. Hamilton, ;Last Night. Mrs. Foote died at the Waikato Hospital while undergoing an operation. At the inquest a verdict of accidental death was returned. MOTOR CYCLIST INJURED. Hamilton, Last Night. George, Hyde, Government Valuer, met with a serious accident by being thrown off his motor cycle. He sustained a broken nose and cuts to the head and face and .bruises on the body.
