THE HOME RULE QUESTION.

ARCHBISHOP KELLY'S TRENCHANT REMARKS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received March 18, 12.30 a.m. Sydney, March 17. The weather was fine for the St. Patrick's Day celebration. The speakers, including Archbishop Kelly and Mr. Hazelton, Irish delegate, strongly advocated Home Rule. Archbishop Kelly declared that if affairs were properly managed Home Rule was as certain in the near future as the rising of the sun. Many said they would lay down their lives for Ireland. Give him the man who would lay down his glass for Ireland. Anyone who would do this for the sake of Irish prosperity he would credit better than those who went about saying they would sacrifice their livrs.
