PROPOSED EMPIRE EXHIBITION. By Cable—Prwa Aaeoeiatioa —Ojyrifkt. Melbourne, March 16. The State Premier has submitted to Mr, Fisher and the other Premiers a •eheme for holding an Empire exhibition at one of the capital cities. It is estimated that the cost will be £600.000. and it is suggested that the State where it will be held guarantee £250,000, the Federal Government £IOO.OOO. and that the balance be distributed between the other States on a population basis.
