1 NATIONAL TRANSCONTINENTAL RAILWAY. By Cable—Press As»o«ia,tion —Copyright. Ottawa, March 14. The Budget has been introduced, showing a surplus of 29,000,(100 dollars. No taritf changes are proposed, and no resolutions regarding the steel bounties. Another hundred million dollars 'will probably be spent in Government aid to the national transcontinental railway, a bargain concerning which was made by Sir Wilfrid Laurier's Government.
