Samuel, Postmaster-General, at the Chamber of Commerce banquet, said that the Imperial wireless system would be of immense value, especially strategically, before long. He hoped, in three leaps, to connect England with India, and in two more leaps to connect with Australia. In addition, the Government before long would obtain control of all cable business.
