LONDON WOOL SALES. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 11, 10.25 p.m. ' London, March 11. The colonial wool merchants have fixed the second series of sales for April 11, with a limit of 250,000 hales, and the third series for June U, the limit "to be decided upon later. Consideration of the dates and quantities for the fourth, fifth and sixth series was deferred.
LONDON MARKETS. Dalgety & Co., Wellington, have received the following cablegram from their London office under date 7th inst.: —Frozen Meat: Since our cable last week, the position is unchanged. Tallow: Finest qualities of beef and mutton are unchanged. All other descriptions are 3d to 6d per cwt. higher. Rabbitskins: Since our last wire, prices are y 2 d to Id per lb. 'higher.
The N.Z. Loan & M.A. Co. have received the following cablegram from their London house under date Bth inst: —Market weak for mutton j more enquiry for lamb; market slightly better for beef (sides). The second series of the London wool sales are fixed for April 11, with a limit of 230,000 bales, and the second series for June 11, the limit to be arranged. LONDON DAIRY PRODUCE REPORT. Mr. R. W. D. Roberston has received the following cable from Messrs Andrew Clements and Sons, Ltd., London, under date March 7: — Butter—Salted 128s, Market weak. Cheese—White 745, colored 745; market firm.
