A HAYTIAN TYRANT.
SENTENCED TO DEATH. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. New York, March 10. Advices received from Hayti announce that General Coiceru, the exmilitary tyrant of Hayti, lias been sentenced to death, the jury in the criminal court finding him guilty of instituting a riot in 1898, in which ten persons were fatally shot. Later lie betrayed his three brothers, and personally directed their execution on the following day. He once swore that he would carve out the hearts of white people if opportunity offered.
