DISCOVERY OF STOLEN MONEY. By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, Friday. An extraordinary sequel has occurred to the robbery from the corporation strong room in September last of between £SOO and £6OO. The police are still without a clue as to the perpetrator of the burglary. By a curious coincidence the find was made on the day when Donaldson, a youth formerly employed by the council, and who was acquitted on a charge of stealing, is standing his trial for alleged theft of Rugby Union funds.
