The conference between the Coal Owners' Association and the delegates of workers in the coal mines have made a mutual agreement. The chief demand of the delegates was an advance from 12s 6d a day to 13s 4d, with overtime. MacLennan's Arapata estate, Waituna West, cut in eleven sections of 130 to 540 acres, was sold in Feilding yesterday afternoon.
