Mr. Thomas Smith, a pioneer of Mangatoro, Dannevirke, is dead, aged 79 years.
A Sydney cablegram received last night states that the Earl and Countess of Morton, accompanied by their two sons, will continue their voyage on to New Zealand by the Moldavia', on a deer stalking expedition.
