LONDON MARKETS. By Cable—Pres« Association--CopyrigM. London, Mareh 4. The wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom totals 3,465,000 quarters, and for the Continent 1,130,000 quarters. Atlantic shipments amount to 116,000 quarters, and Pacific shipments to 40,000 quarters. The total shipments to Europe for the week amounted to 905,000 quarters, including Argentina 193,000 quarters, Russian 145,000 quarters, Danubian 65,000 quarters, Indian 105,000 quarters, Australia 185.000 quarters. .' Silier, 27d per oz. Waihi shares, 37s 6d to 40«. DAIRY PRODUCE. Messrs A. H. Turnbull and Co., of Christchurcli, have received the following cable from Messrs Weddell and Co., Ltd., relating to butter prices in London:—Danish butter, 137 a; New Zealand, first grade, salted,, 130s; first grade, unsalted, 130s. Sellers are asking an advance in prices. Market is demoraliied owing to coal strikes. Cheese is unchanged; market firm.
