URUGUAYAN DELEGATES
IN THE MANAWATU. By Telegraph—Press Association. Palmerston N., Last Night. The Uruguayan agricultural delegates were received to-day by Mr. P. A. MeHardy (president of the Agricultural Association), Mr. Nash (Mayor), and others. They motored out to Nathan and Co.'s dried milk factory at Bunnythorpe, where the delegates were shown the process, in which they were deeply interested, and also in Nathan's cheese factory at Whakaronga, where Miss Davies, Government expert, has been demonstrating in soft cheese-making and showed the . results. The delegates afterwards visited the show grounds and racecourse, and then motored to Feilding. - Feilding, Last Night. Members of the Uruguayan Commission motored to here from Palmerston North this afternoon, being entertained at. dinner with fifty representative men by Mr. E. Short, president of the A. and P. Association this evening. To-morrow morning they will visit Mr. Short's stud farm at Cheltenham.
