WANGANUI HARBOR BOARD. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. At the Harbor Board meeting to-nigM a notice of motion was tabled to the effect that the Board rescind its previous resolution to promote a Bill to raise a loan of £250,000 for harbor improvement, and that it take steps to raise £IOO,OOO instead. This means the temporary abandonment of the big scheme at the Heads. The new loan is to be used for the purchase of a dredge to deepen the river channel to the town.
