WEBSTER BROS,' REPORT. Poultry.—At the Mart on Saturday our pens were again well filled with birds of all classes. Prices were well maintained. We have an unsatisfied demand for young table cockerels, turkeys, hens and gobblers. Old hens brought Is 3d to Is Bd, good young 2s to 3s, young pullets Is 6d to 2s, forward 3s to 4s, small cockerels 6d to Is, fat Is 3d to 2s >6d, chicks 4d to 9d, ducks Is 4d to 2s, drakes Is 6d. The usual line of auction sundries realised satisfactory prices. Furniture.—On Wednesday, on account of Mr. Alex. Harrison, at his residence in Courtenay street, we held a clearing sale of all his house furniture and effects. There was a large attendance of the public and prices realised proved satisfactory. Fruit.—During the week we have handled large quantities from Nelson, Auckland and Hawke's Bay.
