THE LABOR PARTY. DEAL WITH POLITICAL SITUATION. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last -Night. The Auckland branch of the Labor Party unanimously passed a' resolution congratulating Mr. Veitcb. on his political honesty and integrity/-and while nob committing itself to'the wisdom or other-' wise of the pledges condemned the action of two so-called Labor politicians, Messrs. Payne and Robertson, in breaking faith with their constituents. The meeting was of the opinion that the two referred to should hand in their resignations. The resolution also stated that the Labdr Party was in no way connected with the regrettable occurrence.
