Following is the High Commissioner's cablegram, under date London, February 27* (Note: Quotation?, unless otherwise specified, are average market prices on spot) Eggs.—With small supplies coming forward and good demand recently, prices have been unusually high for this time of the year. It is expected that supplies will increase this week, and lower rates will have to be accepted. Per 120: Home 15s 6d, Dutch 13s 6d to 15s fid, Assyrian 12s to 14s, Morrocan lis 6d, French 12s 6d to 15s 6d, Danish 13s to 15s 6d, to 10 n 13S 8d t0 153 6d ' Egyptian 9s 3d Poultry.—The market is quiet and small business doing. Chickens: Home 9a to lOd, Russian 8d to 9d, American 0d to lid. Ducklings: Home lOd to Is, Chinese sy s i to 0y 2 d, Russian 5V 2 d to 6y 2 d. Turkeys: French 9d to 10V,d, Continental 8d to 9d. Bacon.—The market is quiot but steady. The consumption lately has been satisfactory and prices are firm. Sides, Irish 58s to 68s, Danish, 56s to 645, Continental 50s to 61s, Canadian 55s to 60s. Hams.—Market dull for Canadian and American, and for English and Irish good demand and steady rates. English" 84s to 102s, Irish 86s to 100s, Canadian 56s to 665, American 50s to 545.
