ELECTION OF BISHOP. By Telegraph—Press Association. Nelson, Last Night. The Diocesan Synod met in special session to-day for the election of a bishop to succeed Dr. Mules, who has resigned. The proceedings were in camera. It is understood that there are seven nominations of clergy in various parts of the Dominion. The ballots Wiere not concluded wlien the Synod adjourned late last night.
