RIFLE SHOOTING.
RIFLE CLUB DEFEAT TERRITORIALS At the Waiwakaiho range yesterday afternoon a match was fired between the Territorials and the Rifle Club. The conditions were 10 men a-side, 7 shots each at 800, 900, and 1000 yards. A strong wind varying from 15 to 25 degrees blowing across the range made accurate shooting almost an impossibility. The president of the Rifle Club (Mr. A. L. Humphries) made a possible at 800 yards. The Rifle Club won by 38 points. Stores:—
