Yuan-Shih-Kai pleaded for an improvement in the position in the interior, except in Fuehistun and Manchuria, where the populace were unaware of the agreement. M-Huan-Hung was unanimously elected Vice-President of the Republic. JAPAN SUPPLIES ARMS. Received 28, 12.30 a.m. Tokio, February 21. The Minister of War, referring to a question in the Diet, said £300,000 worth of anna were sold to' the Chinese revolutionaries in the present disturbances.
