SUPREME COURT.
JURIES DISAGREE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. At the Supreme Court to-day, Peter Hugh Ferguson, a station hand at Erewhonv Taihape, was charged with assaulting his employer's wife during her husband's absence. Mr. Gifford Moore appeared foi accused. The jury disagred, and a new trial was ordered. The jury also disagreed in the case against Albert Victor Vinsen, a married man, charged with carnal knowledge of a girl under 16. Mr. Louis Cohen appeared for accused, A new trial was ordered. IN DIVORCE. Dunedin, East Night. In the Supreme Court to-day a decree nisi was granted in the divorce case Annie McCormack.v. Geo. McCormack, on the ground of habitual drunkenness and failure to support.
