ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
MOTOR CAR ACCIDENT. By Telegraph—Preai Gore, Monday. A motor car accident occurred between Mataura and Brydone yesterday. A car, driven by D. Corcoran, Waikaka, met a farmer named Ryan on horseback. The horse shied and collided with the car, which had slowed down. The car capsized and the man Ryan sustained a broken leg, Mr. Francis (Corcoran's father-in-law) a broken rib, and Mrs. Corcoran abrasions to the head. Messrs. Ryan and Francis were conveyed to the hospital.
