INGLEWOOD NEWS
(From Our Own Correspondent.) At the Magistrate's Court, Inglewood, on Thursday, February 15, before Mr. Kenrick, S.M., judgment was given for plaintiff by default in the following cases :-r-A .E. Surrey (Mr. Billing) v. F. W. Betts, £l4 8s 2d, and costs £1 18s 6d; King and Stubbs (Mr. Paterson) v. O. Bielawski, claim £1 5s 3d, and costs' ss; Inglewood Bacon Co. (Mr. Paterson) v. Isaac Elliott, claim 10s lOd, costs ss; Sutherland Bros. v. Harry Cole, claim £1 3s, costs7s; same v. George Burnand, £1 7s 6d, costs 13s; C. A. Cramer (Mr. Paterson') v. J. W. claim £2 6s, and costs ss; A. Sehrider (Mr. Paterson) v. J. Roguski, claim 15s 6d, and costs 6s. A large batch were either confessed or struck out.
In the case Police v. J. Wellington and others, no evidence was offered. A young man named W. S. Brown appeared on remand foJ failing to make adequate provision for his unborn illegitimate c.hijd.. The case wa« partly heard and ifhen adjourned to Stratford the following day., Billing appeared for the complainant.
