BELL BLOCK.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) There was only a small attendance at the adjourned annual meeting of the Bell Block Hal] Association, held on Wednesday night last, the night'being very wet. The annual report and balancesheet (as previously published) was adopted. The election of officers resulted: President, Mr. King; vice-presidents, Messrs. J. Connett and J. Holmes; treasurer, Mr. Hoskinj secretary, Mr. Downs (all re-elected); committee, Meßsrs. Andrews, jun., Salway, jun Rundle (2), Were, H. Giddy and L. Holmes; auditor, Mr. R. Pepperell. Hearty votes of thanks were accorded | the ladies who had assisted during the season, also all the last year's officials 1 and committee and the auditor. The folI lowing ladies' committee was elected to | assist the hall committee: Mesdames | Connett, Andrews, Holmes (2), Hoby • and Salway, and Misses Johns, Rundle, and Street.
