EXTRA ' t-XATION DEMANDED.

In the Reichstag, during the debate on the Estimates, the Secretary of the Treasury demanded that the new army and navy expenditure be met by fresh taxation) as Germany's credit must be maintained.
An extra £IOO,OOO is being asked for aeroplanes and dirigibles, and an additional £32,000 to strengthen the Kaiochao troops.
