The aviator Coffin, accompanied by a moving-picture operator, hydro-aero-planed around the statue of Liberty and across the harbor, the operator taking moving pictures continuously. These are the first pictures taken from an airship. BRITISH POST OFFICE. London, February 13. Mr. Samuel, Postmaster-General, replying to a deputation, intimated that the Post Office would hereafter annually engage only 3750 boys instead of 6000, and would dismiss 400 yearly instead of 4400. PORTUGUESE SMUGGLERS. Lisbon, February IS. Troops attacked smugglers, who sought refuge in a deserted monastery at Camusca. Five smugglers were killed and nine wounded. BOYS CHARGED WITH MURDER. Governor of Southern Nigeria, has been transferred to Guiana, and Sir Frederick Lugard has been appointed Governor of Southern and Northern Nigeria. NEW LONDON iDOCK. London, February 13. The King will cut the first sod in July of the new Royal Albert Dock, which is to cost £2,500,000.
