COAL FROM WESTPORT.
The Putiki arrived at midnight' on Tuesday from Westport with 138 tons of coal, which she discharged yesterday. The Alexander, also from Westport, arrived in port yesterday morning, her cargo 'amounting to about 200 tons. The rain in the afternoon delayed discharging operations, and her departure for Nelson has been postponed till to-' day. One hundred tons of coal have yet to be discharged into the Harbor Board's bunkers.
THE RARAWA. j
The Rarawa brought 104 tons of cargo from Onehunga yesterday morning, including 30 tons of cement, 6 tons of flour, 6 tons sugar and *440 cases of fruit.
THE ROSAMOND. The Rosamond, which is due to-day from Wellington, Picton and Nelson, is temporarily commanded by Captain J. Baldwin, late of the Kowhai. Captain B. B. Irwin, of the Rosamond, is on holiiday leave.
