Earl Crewe, who is retaining the Secretaryship for India, has been appointed Lord Privy Seal, and Mr. McKinnon Wood has succeeded Lord Pentland as Secretary for Scotland. A new post will be found later on for Lord Pentland.

LABOR DEMONSTRATION.

At the Labor Party demonstration a,t Albert Hall on behalf of adult suffrage, Mr. Ramsay Mac Donald, M.P., stated that the time had come when the basis of democracy must be broadened. He would certainly turn out the Government on the suffrage question. Mr. Henderson, M.P., stated that he would give n# vote to any Government Bill not securing votes for women.
