A PROMISED TREAT
Mr. Everard Gilmour, of New Plymouth, has written to the town clerk, asking for particulars of charges, etc., of the Town Hall, mentioning that there is a possibility of Miss Rosina Buckman, Mr. Hamilton Hodges and others giving a concert here shortly. Mr. Gilmour adds: "I trust that if they come Stratford people will turn out well." They ought to. Miss Rosina Buckman is a Xew Zealand singer, and one who has thrilled thousands in the principal cities of Australia. Madame Melba thinks most highly of her, as the result of her association with the great diva in grasd opera- in Australia. Mr. Hamilton Hodges provides, a' veritable feast of song. Yes, Stratford -should certainly "turn out well."
