EMPIRE PICTURES. Patrons of the Empire Picture Palate cannot complain that their tastes are not studied. The programme is' never allowed to flag from want of variety, and the efforts of the management to wis. approbation are not in vain. The big attractions for to-night's new programme are many and of quite a sensational nature. Pride of place is given to a racing story entitled "Rogues of the a drama abounding in remarkable situations,- which are splendidly carried out. "A Romance of a Jockey" is another appropriate ''star," which comes with a big reputation from a leading American studio. Other notable items to be shown to-night are: "A Lad from Old Ireland" (Edison), "Lonely Villa" (A.8.), "The Life Saver" (Edison), "Told in the Sierras" frSelig), dramas; "Pathe's Animated.. Gazette," the latest of the "Delhi" series, and several humorous sketches, including the Essanay Company's biggest success, "The Infant at Suakcville," a regular scream from title to trademark.
