Wheat.—Markets firm on reports of further labor troubles in the Argentine. Cargoes are held at about threepence advance. Thirty-seven shillings and threepence was paid for parcels of Australian January-February shipment. There is fair inquiry for Australian spot at 39s 6d. Flour.—Firm. Australian ex store 26s 6d, c.ii. 25s 6d. Oats.—Firm. La Plata February-March 17s 4y 2 d. Peas and Beans.—Firm and unchanged. Butter.—Firm, with good general inquiry. Danish unchanged; choiceet Australian 128s to 130s, second 124s to 1265; New Zealand 130s to 1335. Cheese.—Dull. New Zealand 725. . Copper.-nSpot £62 8s 9d, three months £63 2s 6d; electrolytic £65 10s. Tin.-Spot £192 15s. Lead, £ls 13s 9d. Spelter, £26 7e 6d. Iron, 495. Sugar.—German 15s sd, first marks 18s.
