The United States Government has notified Germany that the integrity and entity of China will be strictly respected, and has also communicated with the Powers, who are unanimous that no action shall be taken except in concert. The United States disapproves of loans unless they are purely neutral. REPUBLICANS DISTRUSTFUL. . BELIEVE YUAN-SHIH-KAI IS A MONARCHIST. Received 10, 1.30 a.m. Pekin, February 9. The Republicans are becoming distrustful of Yuan-Shih-Kai, fearing that after the conclusion of peace he will revert to Monarchial institutions. They have requested Yuan-Shih-Kai to visit Nanking to negotiate the final arrangements.
