THE INSURANCE BILL. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. , London, February 8. Mr. Mastermann, speaking at Bethnal J Green, said that if every doctor in the United Kingdom refused to work under the Insurance Act it would still be proceeded with. It would be an insult for persons to receive medical treatment who had money to make their own arrangements. The Hearts of Oak and Foresters have decided to become, approved societies under the Insurance Act, the Foresters' decision being subject to a Government assurance safeguarding the Order. THE DUTY OF UNIONISTS. ( London, February 8. Lord Rothschild, speaking at Tring, said the first duty of Unionists on regaining power would be to repeal the Parliament Act, reform the House of Lords, and suspend the insurance scheme until it had been moulded in conformity with the wishes of the people. He disliked taxes on food, but, as the time was approaching when Australia, Canada and South Africa would be able to supply all that was required, it would be very tempting to give them preference and send them more manufactured goods.
