AUSTRALIAN MARKETS. fly Cable—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, February 7. Wheat lias advanced to 3s 9d and 3s &y 2 d. LONDON MARKETS. JANUARY WOOL SALES. Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Wellington, have received the following cable from their London house, under date February 3, 2912: The wool sales have closed. As compared with closing rates of last series, merino, good quality scoured, unchanged, super scoured, unchanged; inferior faulty scoured, 5 per cent, lower; greasy fair to good, unchanged; heavy, earthy and waaty, 6 per cent, lower. Cross breds, greasies, fine quality light condition, free from burr, to 6 per cent, higher; medium light condition and bright, par to 5 per cent, higher; other descriptions unchanged; scoured crossbreds, unchanged; lambs, unchanged; inferior and faulty wools, 5 per cent, to 10 per cent, lower. Seven thousand bales were sold to America, 92,000 bales for Home consumption, 68,000 bales Continent, and 19,000 bales carried forward.
